1. No Surprises Act – Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act (2022), health care providers are required to give patients who don’t have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for medical services. You have the right to:

Receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including therapy.

Request a GFE in writing at least one business day before your scheduled session.

Dispute bills that are $400 or more above the GFE.

2. Terms and Conditions
Updates to Terms
Harmonious Roots reserves the right to modify or update these terms at any time without prior notice. Updated terms will be posted on our website with an “Updated” date. Continued use of our site and services constitutes acceptance of those changes.

3. Service Policies
Appointments & Cancellations

Scheduling: Appointments can be scheduled by contacting your therapist directly via the phone number provided, email or text message. Consultations may be booked online.

Cancellation Policy: We require at least 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee as detailed in our payment policies.

Rescheduling: Should you need to reschedule, please contact us promptly. We will do our best to accommodate your needs, subject to availability.
Payment Policies

Accepted Payment Methods: We are self-pay and only practice accept credit cards or HSA at this time.

Insurance: While insurance is not accepted at this time, a superbill can be provided upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement through your health insurance provider.

Refunds: Fees for sessions are generally non-refundable. In the case of a billing error or service cancellation by Harmonious Roots, a refund or credit will be issued at our discretion.
